He is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Yale School of Medicine Occupational and Environmental Program. He is Board certified in Family Medicine and Occupational and Environmental Medicine and has worked as a primary care physician as well as a specialist in occupational and environmental medicine. He has research interest in the effect of noise on health as well as waterborne environmental health hazards and linkages between human, animal, and environmental health.
